ExpiryLog ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Data you create in the app (for example: item names, expiration dates, categories, reminders, and optional photos) is stored on your device.
If iCloud sync is enabled (Premium feature), this data is stored in your personal iCloud account through Apple CloudKit.
We do not have direct access to your private iCloud data.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand app performance and feature usage.

We do not send personal content like item names, category names, photos, free-text user input, or payment card data in analytics events.
ExpiryLog uses local notifications generated on your device to remind you about expiration dates.
If you attach photos to items, photos are stored locally and, when iCloud sync is active, in your iCloud account.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store payment card information.
We do not sell your personal data. Data is only shared with service providers needed to operate the app features described here.
We rely on Apple and Firebase security controls and industry-standard transport protections for the data handled by these services.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
