SleepWave ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal data on servers owned by us. SleepWave stores core app preferences locally on your device, such as selected sounds, volume levels, EQ modes, and sleep timer settings.

We use third-party services (Firebase and Apple services) to process app analytics, diagnostics, and subscription state.

2. Analytics & Diagnostics

SleepWave uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand product usage and app stability.

• Analytics events are product events (for example: sound play/stop, timer actions, paywall views, and purchase flow events).
• Crash diagnostics may include technical device/app information needed to investigate crashes and performance issues.
• We do not intentionally send personal identifiers such as name, email, phone number, or user-generated content in analytics events.

3. Data Usage

• Play ambient and generated sounds for sleep, focus, and relaxation
• Apply EQ presets (Deep Sleep, Focus, Relax) to audio playback
• Schedule and manage the sleep timer
• Improve app quality, stability, and user experience via analytics and diagnostics
• Support subscription purchase and restore flows via Apple StoreKit

4. Audio Playback

All audio content, including bundled ambient sounds and procedurally generated noise (white, brown, and pink noise), is processed on your device using Apple's AVFoundation framework. SleepWave does not upload your audio playback content.

5. Sleep Timer

The sleep timer is managed on-device. We may log timer actions as product analytics events (for example, started/cancelled/completed) without personal data.

6. Haptic Feedback

SleepWave uses haptic feedback to enhance interactions such as playing sounds or confirming purchases. Haptics are generated locally by iOS.

7. In-App Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple via StoreKit. We do not collect or store payment card or billing details. We may receive subscription entitlement status from Apple APIs to unlock premium features.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with service providers required to operate the app features described in this policy.

10. Data Security

• Adjust or reset app preferences at any time within the app
• Cancel your subscription via iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
• Delete the app to remove locally stored app data

12. Children's Privacy

SleepWave is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
